California nut cooperative invests $24 M in almond huller, sheller

Minturn Hullers Co-op of Chowchilla, Calif., has made a $24 million investment in a next-generation almond huller and sheller, which will double the cooperative’s capacity just in time for the 2014 almond harvest.
