U.K. report offers advice to prevent food fraud

In June 2013—following the horsemeat scandal—the U.K. Dept. for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) commissioned a review into the integrity and assurance of food supply networks, and to make recommendations for how the systems used to deter, identify, and prosecute food adulteration could be improved.
