U.S. policymakers hope menu labeling helps slim waistlines

Despite an International Food Information Council (IFIC) survey indicating that taste, price, and healthfulness drive consumer food choices, the waistlines of Americans continue to expand: American adults have an obesity rate of 34.9%, and American children have an obesity rate of 17%.
