World Health Day: A focus on food safety

World Health Day, observed on April 7 each year to mark the anniversary of the 1948 founding of the World Health Organization (WHO), gives everyone an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made to address the need for strong food safety systems, and on the challenges that lie ahead.
