Increased Intake of Omega-3s May Prevent Artery Calcification

A high intake of omega-3 fatty acids may help prevent artery calcification and heart disease, according to a study published in Heart. The study looked at the relative incidence of coronary artery calcification (CAC), which can predict heart disease, in middle-aged men in Japan and the United States.
